Poplar Chase’s 94 units, averaging 1500 square feet, feature open layouts, fully-equipped gourmet kitchens, laundry rooms, and high-quality, modern finishes.

Bedrock’s Role and Approach
Bedrock Builders coordinated all site development and led design for the Poplar Chase project, allowing for a cohesive approach and seamless transitions. Our experience in large-scale residential projects enabled us to deliver a turnkey solution for the operator. With any project of this scale, there are challenges. And solutions.
- Integrating the new Poplar Chase neighborhood into the existing Hoosier Village model. Bedrock Builders handled site coordination, ensuring that the overall infrastructure – from roads and access points to utilities and walkable spaces – supported the development and complied with applicable zoning and permitting requirements.
- Delivering single-family scale, and luxury, in a duplex footprint while ensuring units are accessible and maintenance-free. Because we were designing for a specialized population, floor plans were optimized for ease of use with open layouts and sightlines, guided by universal design principles. The goal was to deliver duplexes that offer a single-family feel and efficient care/upkeep for the operator.
